Hofsa Dam is a diversion structure on the Hofsa river in the Westfjords and forms part of the Mjolkar hydropower system. It was constructed in 1976 to increase inflow to Borgarhvilftarvatn, the intake reservoir for Mjolka I.
Water is diverted from Hofsa through approximately 2.3 kilometres of pipeline and a 525-metre diversion canal into Borgarhvilftarlaek.
