Stafnes Lighthouse was built in 1925 at Stafnes between Hafnir and Sandgerði. It was designed by engineer Benedikt Jónasson. The lighthouse is an eight-metre-high square concrete tower. Originally white with a red band, it was painted yellow in 1962.
The lighthouse is 8 metres high. The light has a listed range of 12 nautical miles.
