Hólmsberg Lighthouse north of Keflavík was built in 1956. Designed by engineer Axel Sveinsson, it consists of a 9.3-metre conical concrete tower topped by a Swedish lantern approximately 3.4 metres high.
The lighthouse is 9.3 metres high. The light has a listed range of 16 nautical miles.
