Deildartunguhver is a powerful geothermal spring in Reykholtsdalur in West Iceland. The spring is known for an exceptionally high flow of near-boiling water, which has long been used for district heating and greenhouse cultivation in the Borgarfjörður region.
The geothermal area is compact but visually striking, with steam and hot water emerging from the ground. Visitors should stay on marked or safe surfaces and keep a careful distance from the boiling water.
