The first lighthouse at Arnarnes by Ísafjarðardjúp was built in 1902. In 1921 it was replaced by the present steel-framework lighthouse, which is approximately 5.4 metres high.
The lighthouse is 5.4 metres high. The light has a listed range of 15 nautical miles.
