Lake Ulfljotsvatn is a natural lake on the Sog river between Thingvallavatn and Irafoss. The Sog flows through the lake, which forms part of one of Iceland's oldest major hydropower systems.
Ljosafoss Power Station stands at the lake's outlet and entered service in 1937. Water from Ulfljotsvatn is conveyed to the station's turbines before continuing downstream along the Sog river.
