Ásgarðsgil is a scenic canyon located in the Kerlingarfjöll mountain range in Iceland’s central highlands. The canyon is surrounded by colorful rhyolite mountains, geothermal areas, and dramatic highland scenery.
Ásgarðsgil is home to the popular natural hot spring Borholan, a well-known resting point for hikers exploring Kerlingarfjöll.
