Tröllagil is a gorge in East Iceland in the mountainous landscape around Berufjörður and Fossárdalur. The area is characterised by steep mountainsides, valleys and deeply cut ravines shaped over time by running water, frost and weathering.

Nearby lies Fossárdalur, a green valley where the Fossá river, streams and waterfalls strongly influence the surrounding landscape. A visit can also be combined with Berufjörður Church and other destinations around Berufjörður.

Tröllagil is not a heavily developed tourist attraction and formal visitor facilities are limited. Travellers should therefore check local access conditions and take care on steep and uneven terrain.
