Þórunnarlaug

Þórunnar laug is a small geothermal pool located close to Laugafellslaug. Access is gained by walking to a nearby ravine and then following it for approximately 200 meters, where the pool comes into view.

The pool is beautifully hidden within the landscape and offers a calm and natural bathing experience in the peaceful highland surroundings. Access is relatively easy for experienced hikers.

A visit can be combined with other stops in the wider region, such as Bláhnúkur and Drekagil. Opening, access and bathing conditions may change with weather and season, so current information should be checked before setting out.
