East Iceland Maritime Museum

The East Iceland Maritime Museum is located in Eskifjörður in the town’s oldest building, constructed in 1816 by the Danish trading company Örum & Wulff. The museum preserves the history of fishing, seafaring and coastal life in East Iceland from early settlement to modern times.
