Hauganes Beach is a coastal or beach area in Northeast Iceland, shaped by open shoreline, sea views and the surrounding landscape. Tides, light and weather can change the character of the coast significantly, making each visit look and feel different.
The visit can be combined with Hauganes and Hauganes Hot Tubs. Around Icelandic coasts, always keep a safe distance from strong surf and pay close attention to local conditions.
Hauganes Beach is a black-sand beach on Eyjafjörður. The beach is reached by a short walk from the harbour. Sea bathing is practised here and hot tubs are located close to the shore.
