Leiðarendi Day Tour

Leiðarendi is a lava tube in the Bláfjöll area, about a short drive from Reykjavík. The cave contains varied lava formations created by volcanic activity, and visits involve walking, climbing and crawling through underground passages. Proper cave equipment, warm clothing and sturdy footwear are important.
