Hvesta

Hvesta is a prominent mountain located in Skagafjörður in North Iceland. Rising above the valley floor, it is one of the area’s most recognizable natural landmarks and is clearly visible from nearby settlements and main routes.

The mountain is characterized by steep slopes and a well-defined shape, formed by glacial and erosional forces over time. Its appearance changes with the seasons and weather, giving the surrounding landscape much of its distinctive character.
