Fjallahöfn Beach is a coastal or beach area in Northeast Iceland, shaped by open shoreline, sea views and the surrounding landscape. Tides, light and weather can change the character of the coast significantly, making each visit look and feel different. The visit can be combined with Húsavík and Hringsbjarg Black Sand Beach . Around Icelandic coasts, always keep a safe distance from strong surf and pay close attention to local conditions.

The place can form part of a wider trip through North Iceland, combining naturally with other landscape, heritage and travel experiences depending on interests and season.

Safety

Do not attempt to drive onto the beach. Use the small parking area beside Road 85 and walk to the shore.

Fjallahöfn is a black-sand beach by Öxarfjörður. A small parking area beside Road 85 provides access on foot and the beach offers broad views along the extensive shoreline of Öxarfjörður.
