Bóndavarða is located on a hill on the outskirts of Djúpavogur and is one of the area’s most scenic viewpoints. From the top there are magnificent views over the town, Berufjörður and the surrounding fjords, with Búlandsstindur rising prominently directly ahead.
A well-maintained path leads up to Bóndavarða and is suitable for most visitors, while those who prefer can also drive close to the viewpoint.
At the top you will find the Djúpavogur viewing disc, which helps visitors identify surrounding landmarks and mountains while enjoying the panoramic views.
