Emstrur Campsite is an important stop on the Laugavegur trail between Álftavatn and Þórsmörk.
The trail continues towards Þórsmörk.
Emstrur campsite is beside the huts at Botnar on the Laugavegur trail. Campers have access to toilets and drinking water, with showers available for a fee. A communal shelter is available for cooking and eating.
