Mary’s Church, dedicated to the Virgin Mary, Star of the Sea, is a Roman Catholic parish church located in the Breiðholt district of Reykjavík.
The church was first opened on 25 March 1985, the Feast of the Annunciation, and was formally consecrated on 24 May 2001.
Mary’s Church serves a diverse and multicultural congregation and plays an important role in Catholic life in the eastern part of the city. The parish priest is Fr. Denis O’Leary from Ireland.
