Kaldalón is a scenic fjord north of Ísafjarðardjúp in the Westfjords.
The fjord is surrounded by steep mountains and lies beneath the glacier Drangajökull. It is known for its dramatic landscape, silence, and untouched wilderness.
Once inhabited, Kaldalón was abandoned during the 20th century. Today it attracts hikers and nature lovers seeking remote scenery and historic ruins.
