Hljóðaklettar is a remarkable group of basalt formations in Jökulsárgljúfur, now part of Vatnajökull National Park. The eroded volcanic structures create unusual shapes and acoustics, with formations traditionally known as Karl og Kerling and Kirkjan. Dettifoss is also located in the wider Jökulsárgljúfur area.

For a broader journey through the region, this stop can be combined with places such as Hraundrangi and Forest Lagoon. Access, weather and local conditions can vary during the year, so current information should be checked when planning a visit.

Svæðið er í Jökulsárgljúfrum.
