Grótta Nature Reserve is a protected coastal and bird area on Seltjarnarnes and one of the best-known natural areas near Reykjavík. It was protected in 1974 and covers approximately 0.4 km².

Access to the reserve is prohibited from May 1 to July 15 to protect nesting birds. Visitors must respect seasonal closures.
