Hóla Cathedral

Hóla Cathedral is a church connected with Iceland’s rich religious and local cultural heritage. Rural churches are often closely tied to the history of their communities and the surrounding landscape, making them worthwhile stops for travellers interested in Icelandic history, architecture and settlement.

A visit can easily be combined with nearby places such as NULL and Sydsta-Grund. Please be respectful around the church and cemetery, and note that access to the interior may vary depending on opening arrangements and local circumstances.
