About Northern Prawn
The northern prawn is one of the most important larger crustaceans in Icelandic waters and an important component of the marine ecosystem. It primarily inhabits the seabed in cold water and has also supported commercial fisheries.
Habitat
Cold waters over soft seabeds, particularly at greater depths.
