The razorbill is a common seabird in Iceland and breeds in cliffs and rocky
coastal areas. It has a black-and-white plumage and a strong bill adapted
for catching fish. The razorbill is an excellent diver.
Its diet mainly consists of small fish caught underwater. Outside the
breeding season, it spends most of its time at sea. The razorbill is an
important part of Iceland’s seabird fauna.
